I was born in Mexico City in 1979, and at a very young age, I moved with my parents to Chiapas in the south of Mexico, where I grew up and developed a passion for photography following my dad’s example. Afterwards, I returned to Mexico City to study Industrial Engineering and at the same time undertook diploma courses in analogue photography and developed my skills in the darkroom. After living in the UK and Spain, in 2010 I moved to Zurich, Switzerland with my wife, where I currently live and work as a photo editor. In 2015 I started analog magazine, a magazine project dedicated to promoting contemporary analogue photography and it has now evolved into a small independent publishing house, analog publishing.
